The Most Widely Used Smartphone Operating System

The operating system can be found in the smart phone is the Symbian OS, iPhone OS, RIM BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Linux, Palm WebOS and Android. Android and WebOS made by Linux, and the iPhone OS are made by the BSD and NeXTSTEP operating system associated with Unix.

The development of mobile phones are now up on the stage grouping operating system. Various mobile operating systems like Symbian, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and the last is Android.Di other side java based applications is still a top line of mobile phone applications. Here are some widely used operating system on smartphones.

1. Symbian OS
Symbian OS is a free operating system not developed by Symbian Ltd are designed for use on mobile devices (mobile).
Symbian OS is widely used by a variety of vendor products for mobile communications devices on different types of products they are varied. Symbian is equipped with interface framework and libraries, as well as the implementation of various standard tools. Symbian Ltd.. 2. Blackberry OS
Blackberry Operating System developed by the telecommunications company of origin Canada, Reserch in Motion (RIM). Initially they are producing products and services beeper (pager) in both directions, but in its development, the company broke new ground by creating the famous Blackberry devices with push-email service. Now blackberry turned into a smartphone that has a variety of functions such as GPS, mobile internet, and can access Wi-FI. Recently, RIM announced a new software platform, namely BBX for BlackBerry smartphones and tablet computers them. Previously, the QNX operating system was first released for the BlackBerry last year. The platform is scheduled to work on a tablet computer and smartphone and is regarded as enhancements like car dashboards and smart TV.

3. Android OS
Android is an operating system for mobile phones based on Linux. Android provides an open platform to developers for creating their own applications for use by a variety of mobile devices. Initially, Google Inc.. bought Android Inc.., newcomers who make software for mobile phones. Then to develop Android, formed the Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of 34 companies for hardware, software, and telecommunications, including Google, HTC, Intel, Motorola, Qualcomm, T-Mobile, and Nvidia. The first phone that uses the Android operating system is the HTC Dream, which was released on October 22, 2008. 4. OS iOS
iOS is the operating system found on the products created by famous company Apple. iOS initially developed for the Iphone. But now it is extended to other Apple devices such as iPod Touch, iPad, and Apple TV.

5. OS Windows Mobile
Windows Mobile is a mobile operating system developed by Microsoft that is used in smart phones and mobile devices, but issued to a particular market. Windows Mobile will be replaced by Windows Phone 7. First appearing as Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2000 operating system, most devices that use Windows Mobile has a stylus pen that is used as a means to give commands by touching the screen. Microsoft launched a concept that is completely new Windows Phone 7 in Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 15, 2010. 6. Palm OS
